I know it is already well into fall, but we have been experiencing insane heat waves here in Los Angeles that makes it feel as if we are still in the dead middle of summer. The weather has finally cooled down for a few days, though the forecast says we will be back in the high 90s at the end of this week!
Fall is my favorite season, and even though the weather in LA isn't really cooperating, I wanted to create some fall vibes in my home. I think of this decor as a transitional "summer to fall," which is exactly what it feels like at the moment here in LA. My mantel isn't ready for colors that are completely dark and moody yet, but I still wanted to have some level of coziness.
I bought these pretty snapdragons and dahlias at Trader Joe's, including the mini pumpkins. It's October - you have to have mini pumpkins, even if it's 97 degrees outside.
Happy Fall!
