These past few months have been a whirlwind, in the best and worst of ways. This summer was a moment in my life (I turned 30), and while I had the most beautiful birthday and an incredible summer traveling and performing, it was enveloped in overwhelming sadness as our family has been dealing with great loss and adversities these past few months. I am so thankful that our family is close and that we can lean on each other to support one another as we are still in the midst of it all. All we can do is hope, pray, and love one another.
I am thankful for every experience and opportunity in my life, and especially grateful for the people that have made my life so full.
Here are a few photos from my summer:
My friend Esther and I spent a few days in St. Helena in Napa Valley to celebrate our birthdays together.
San Francisco - one of my most happiest places on earth.
I had the most amazing birthday weekend that was so thoughtfully planned by my dear friend Crystal - thank you Crystal!!! My brother and sister-in-law were also able to come to SF to celebrate which was so special.
Birthday dinner at Bellota - yum
Mendocino Music Festival
If San Francisco is happy, Mendocino is magic. The most incredible place to create music, and this summer in Mendocino was especially healing for me.
Took some headshots for friends (and dog)
Seattle, WA
Took a ferry to Bainbridge Island
Mt. Rainier and Reflection Lake
For my birthday my roomie arranged for a private calligraphy workshop for us because she knew it was something I've been wanting to learn for awhile - calligraphy the real way and not fauxlligraphy as I've been doing all these years. I'm currently working on some projects now that I hope to share soon!
Thanks for reading.
